Mubi will release Pulp: What Do You Do for an Encore? this fall, according to Pitchfork. The 90-minute film is narrated by Jarvis Cocker and directed by longtime Pulp collaborator Garth Jennings.
The movie blends footage from the band’s arena tour supporting last year’s reunion album, More, with archival material charting Pulp’s path from Sheffield underdogs to Britpop stars. Pitchfork says the first trailer is now available to watch.
The film will screen in one-night-only previews before its streaming debut. Those screenings are scheduled for September 18 in the UK and Ireland, September 23 in Canada, and September 24 in the United States.
Mubi has not yet announced the exclusive streaming date for the film.
