Ozzfest has officially confirmed it will return in 2027 at Birmingham’s Villa Park, according to NME. The announcement was made on the festival’s social media channels with an image of the stadium and the words, “Ozzfest to return in 2027 at Villa Park.”
The revival was first discussed earlier this year by Sharon Osbourne, who said the event would return with Ozzy Osbourne’s blessing. She later said the 2027 edition would take place at Villa Park, the same venue that hosted Black Sabbath and Ozzy’s final live performances last summer.
In the post, organizers said that “more info on everything” would be “coming soon.” Sharon has also said she wants to bring in “a lot of young, new talent” for the rebooted festival and has suggested there could also be a U.S. leg.
Sharon has said Ozzfest 2027 could potentially be spread across two nights in Birmingham, though she added that decision would be up to fans. She has also said discussions about the lineup are already happening, but official details have not yet been announced.
