Maricopa residents have until Oct. 28 to share feedback on a draft regional economic development strategy released by Central Arizona Governments, according to InMaricopa.
The preliminary 2026-2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, or CEDS, was opened for public review on Sept. 28. The plan covers the CAG region, which includes Gila and Pinal counties, and is meant to guide regional work on job creation, economic stability and economic diversification.
According to CAG’s public notice, residents can view the documents online at cagaz.org and cagedd.com. Printed copies are also available during regular business hours at CAG’s office at 2540 W. Apache Trail, Suite 108, in Apache Junction.
