Maricopa resident Melody Morris was evicted from CBS’s Big Brother during the show’s Egyptian eviction episode, according to InMaricopa.
Morris was eliminated in the episode that aired Sept. 23 and finished in fifth place. Her housemate Drew Campbell, described in the story as her “flirtmance” partner, was the only person who voted to keep her.
Campbell voted to evict Taylor Brown, while Dee Valladares voted against Morris. With the vote tied 1-1, Head of Household Rick Devens cast the deciding vote to send Morris out of the house.
Devens had originally nominated Morris and Campbell for eviction. Campbell later won the Power of Veto and removed himself from the block, which left Brown as the replacement nominee.
Morris is now the season’s fifth juror and will help decide which remaining contestant wins the $750,000 grand prize, according to InMaricopa. The article also noted that Morris studied sports journalism at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and had worked in sports reporting, social media and stand-up comedy before entering the house.
