“Love Actually in Concert” is set to travel to more than 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada this holiday season, according to Billboard. At each stop, a live orchestra will play the film’s music while the full movie is shown on a screen.
The tour starts with a preview performance on Nov. 15 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, before the official launch on Nov. 16 in Washington, D.C. Presales begin Wednesday, July 22, and tickets go on sale to the general public on July 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
The production is being mounted by GEA Live, RoadCo and Fifth Season. The film behind the event is Richard Curtis’ 2003 holiday romantic comedy “Love Actually,” which features an ensemble cast that includes Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley and Rowan Atkinson.
Billboard notes that the soundtrack includes songs such as Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” Wet Wet Wet’s version of “Love Is All Around” and Craig Armstrong’s score. The tour schedule includes stops in cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Antonio and more, with dates listed as subject to change.
