An immersive exhibition marking Madonna’s 68th birthday is set to open in central London this weekend, according to NME.
The free installation, titled “C’Mon Meet Me On The Dancefloor,” will open to the public at Outernet London on August 16. It is being created and directed by Lookport Studio in collaboration with the venue.
The experience will combine music with large-scale visuals across The Now Building’s 360-degree digital screens. Visitors will also be able to leave personal messages, and some photographs and notes from fans will be shown on the screens.
Lookport founder and creative director Alex Wolf said the project was meant to recognize Madonna’s long career and give audiences a way to share their own connection to her work. Outernet CEO Philip O’Ferrall said it is a privilege to celebrate Madonna and her bond with fans through an interactive experience.
The screening will run at multiple times throughout the day, according to Outernet’s schedule. Madonna recently released her 15th studio album, “Confessions II,” and also appeared at Outernet last month for a “Club Confessions” album launch party.
