Leon Bridges has announced a new album titled Happiness Anytime and released the first four songs from the project, according to NME. The album is set to arrive on September 15 through Columbia.
The singer-songwriter is rolling out the 12-track record in three EPs, with each part containing four songs. The first batch includes “Light The Way,” “Tears of Joy,” “Illusion,” and “Your Love Is Electric.”
According to NME, the album was produced by J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of Jungle. Bridges also worked with Pino Palladino in the studio while putting the record together.
Bridges has been previewing the new project with pop-up performances in cities including Paris, Cannes, Los Angeles, London and Montreux. He said he hopes the album will help listeners who feel burned out or discouraged, describing his role as being “light.”
