Kurt Vile and Czarface’s Esoteric finally shared the stage in Boston, according to Stereogum.
During Vile’s show at the Royale, Esoteric joined him to rap over “Bassackwards,” a track from Vile’s 2018 album Bottle It In.
The pairing came after Vile recently highlighted a Czarface and MF DOOM album as a “Perfect 10” for Pitchfork. In response, Czarface commented on the post, “KV!! Let’s get some music done!”
Vile is currently touring behind his new album Philadelphia’s Been Good To Me. Meanwhile, Czarface and Frankie Pulitzer’s new album Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer is set to arrive next month.
