Kendra Wilkinson is speaking out about body shaming and aging, saying she has reached a place of peace with herself, according to E! News.
In an Instagram post shared Aug. 7, the former Girls Next Door star said she understands that people will criticize her appearance, but it no longer affects her. Wilkinson, 41, said she is happy being herself and watching her children grow.
Wilkinson, who shares son Hank, 16, and daughter Alijah, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett, said she is no longer trying to fit the image of her younger Playboy-era self. She wrote that her priorities now are health, happiness, success and peace.
She also said that being a public figure has not always been easy, but added that she feels grateful for the platform she has and has forgiven herself for past mistakes. In the same post, Wilkinson said life is good and that she feels blessed.
The post comes after Wilkinson recently shared more personal struggles on Instagram Stories, including frustration after a client fired her from her real estate work. According to E! News, she has continued to be open with fans about the highs and lows of her life.
