Ken Jeong has released “Om-A-Nom (Shark Week),” which Discovery is calling the first official song created for Shark Week, according to Billboard.
The track arrives ahead of K-Pop Shark Heroes, a new Shark Week special that will look at how K-pop could help change perceptions of sharks in East Asia and beyond. Discovery says the program combines comedy, K-pop-inspired performances and educational narration.
The song also includes a guest appearance from Grammy-nominated artist REI AMI, who fans may know from the fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X in Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters. Billboard notes that REI AMI also voices and performs as Rumi in the group.
K-Pop Shark Heroes premieres Sunday, July 26, at 8 p.m. ET on Discovery as part of the network’s annual Shark Week lineup.
