Kate Cassidy is clearing up why she’s removing several tattoos from her hand, including some that honored Liam Payne. In a TikTok posted July 29, she said the tattoos are being lasered off because they were thicker than she wanted, according to E! News.
Cassidy explained that the tattoos were her first ones and that she originally asked for a fine-line style. Instead, she said she ended up with ink that looked “thick” and “bulky,” which led her to seek removal.
The tattoos being taken off include angel wings, a star and the number four, which Cassidy and Payne used as their angel number. She said she plans to have the tattoos redone on another part of her hand by an artist experienced in fine-line work.
Cassidy also pushed back on any suggestion that the removal means she is moving on from Payne. She said the meaning behind the tattoos remains special to her and that she is only changing where and how they are done.
