Justin Timberlake returned to the stage for the first time in more than a year on Saturday, surprising fans at Don Toliver’s Miami concert at Kaseya Arena, according to Rolling Stone.
Timberlake joined Toliver to perform two songs: Toliver’s “Body,” which samples Timberlake’s 2003 hit “Rock Your Body,” and the Timberlake track itself.
The appearance was Timberlake’s first onstage performance since July 30, 2025, when his Forget Tomorrow world tour wrapped in Istanbul, Turkey.
Rolling Stone noted that the tour had been interrupted by several health-related postponements and cancellations, including injury, an illness described as “some kind of bug,” laryngitis, bronchitis and a “debilitating” Lyme disease diagnosis. Timberlake also performed during the period after his June 2024 DWI arrest.
In a message after the tour ended, Timberlake said he was shocked by the Lyme disease diagnosis but understood the nerve pain, fatigue and sickness he had felt while performing. He said he chose to keep touring because the joy of performing outweighed the stress on his body.
