Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is set to appear on Celebrity Gogglebox, according to NME.
He will share the sofa with Scissor Sisters singer and actor Jake Shears, who has been a longtime friend and collaborator. The pair have worked together before, including Shears’ cameo in Homme’s world and Shears later contributing to Homme’s Desert Sessions material.
The Channel 4 series features famous guests giving their reactions to TV shows, news, and films. Season eight is currently airing on Fridays, and Homme’s episode is scheduled for Friday, July 17 at 9pm BST.
NME notes that the current series has also included Shaun Ryder and Bez, Fearne Cotton, Martin Kemp, and James Buckley. Previous guest musicians on the show have included Liam and Noel Gallagher, Yungblud, Self Esteem, Mel C, Sam Ryder, and Tom Grennan.
The appearance comes as Queens Of The Stone Age continue their busy run of live dates, including support slots for System Of A Down in the UK and Europe and an upcoming North American tour with Foo Fighters.
