E! News is revisiting a string of real-life romances between Disney Channel stars, including Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, and Miley Cyrus and Dylan Sprouse.
Jonas and Lovato began dating while filming Camp Rock 2 in 2010, but their relationship lasted only a few months. Jonas later said he chose to end the romance because he felt more strongly about their friendship.
The pair have since reunited onscreen for Camp Rock 3, and Jonas said he still cares about Lovato as a friend. Lovato married musician Jutes last year.
