Jodie Sweetin says her 18-year-old daughter Zoie, whom she shares with ex Cody Herpin, is heading to community college for her next chapter, according to E! News.
Sweetin told The Dory Jackson Interview on July 15 that Zoie was still deciding what she wanted to study when she found an opportunity to play soccer at a community college with a scholarship.
The Full House star said Zoie liked the idea of avoiding student debt while she figures out her future. Sweetin added that she is proud of her daughter for making a choice that feels right for her.
Sweetin also said she has tried not to push Zoie toward any specific path. She said she wants her daughter to feel in control of what comes next, rather than feeling pressure from outside expectations.
Even as Zoie grows up, Sweetin said she does not expect her home to empty out anytime soon. She said she is not afraid of her kids growing up and enjoys seeing who they have become.
