Jennifer Aniston is cheering on Courteney Cox’s latest project, praising her work as a director and producer on the upcoming crime thriller Evil Genius, according to E! News.
The film, which stars Patricia Arquette, was recently added to the Toronto International Film Festival lineup. Aniston shared Cox’s Instagram post to her own Story on July 21 and wrote, “My girl!” along with red heart and clapping emojis.
She also left a comment under Cox’s post saying, “So proud of you!!” Cox had captioned her original post, “When you really believe in something… don’t ever give up. Dreams can come true.”
Aniston has long been open about her close friendship with Cox. During Cox’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2023, Aniston said that being friends with Courteney is like being family, and described her as warm, loving and inclusive from the moment they met.
The two have stayed close over the years, with Aniston even serving as godmother to Cox and David Arquette’s daughter, Coco. Aniston has also said the pair often talk about interior design, which she joked is a topic that can bore other people to tears.
