Jacques Greene will release his third solo album, JG, on October 16, according to Pitchfork. The Montreal producer has already shared the lead single, “Presence,” through his LuckyMe imprint.
The new song is described as a bass-heavy two-step track. The album includes collaborations with DJ Boring, umru and SAM-E, among others.
In a press statement, Greene said the record was shaped less by a formal concept and more by instinct and the relationships around him. He said the collaborations came from people he connected with personally, including Noah [SEES0000], after spending time together outside the studio.
JG follows Greene’s 2019 album Dawn Chorus. In 2025, he also teamed with Nosaj Thing on a self-titled album released under the alias Verses GT.
