Olivia Rodrigo recently stopped by Planned Parenthood’s Los Angeles offices to talk about the organization’s work and why she says it matters, according to Billboard.
In videos shared by Planned Parenthood on Tuesday, Rodrigo spoke with Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California president Jodi Hicks and Rachel Rodriguez from the organization’s Los Angeles branch. The pop star asked about the services Planned Parenthood provides, common misunderstandings about the group and what people can expect when they go there for care.
Rodrigo said she was inspired by the staff she met and described the offices as a place where people are united around a shared mission. In one clip, she also listed several services Planned Parenthood offers, including abortion care, UTI treatment, vasectomies and gender-affirming care.
The visit comes ahead of Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival, set for Aug. 29 in Irvine, California. The all-women lineup includes Chappell Roan, Doechii, Stevie Nicks, KATSEYE and others, and proceeds will support organizations that advocate for and provide health resources for women and girls.
Rodrigo has previously said she supports reproductive rights because, in her view, women and girls should be trusted to make decisions about their own bodies and futures. She has also visited the Center for Reproductive Rights and raised more than $2 million through her Fund 4 Good during her Guts World Tour, according to Billboard.
