Billboard has taken a look at which artists could headline Glastonbury 2027, as the festival prepares to return after its fallow year in 2026. The U.K. event, held each June at Worthy Farm in Somerset, is one of the world’s biggest music festivals and regularly draws more than 200,000 fans.
The magazine’s list highlights several major pop and rap stars, including Rosalía, Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Jay-Z, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli xcx. It also notes that the two-year gap between festival editions has only added to the speculation about who might take the Pyramid Stage next.
According to Billboard, Rosalía’s recent arena run and acclaim as a live performer make her a strong candidate, while Taylor Swift remains an unresolved possibility after being announced for the canceled 2020 edition. Bad Bunny, Jay-Z and Sabrina Carpenter are also among the acts discussed as potential future headliners.
Billboard also points to Charli xcx’s growing profile after her breakthrough with Brat, and mentions that the Rolling Stones could be in the conversation again after Ronnie Wood said in 2023 that it would be “a must” to headline Glastonbury once more. The article says Mick Jagger has continued to talk publicly about the band’s interest in touring again.
