Boston slowcore trio Horse Jumper of Love are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a deluxe reissue, according to Pitchfork. Horse Jumper of Love (Deluxe Edition) arrives September 25 through Run for Cover.
The expanded release includes remastered versions of the original album tracks along with unreleased songs, demos, and alternate takes. Among the extras is “Heather,” a track the band recorded in 2013 but never put out.
The deluxe edition will be released as a 2xLP vinyl set and will also include a tab book with hand-drawn versions of the nine original songs by singer-guitarist Dimitri Giannopoulos. It also comes with a short essay about the album, photos from the band’s early tours, scans of handwritten notes that became lyrics, and one secret item, according to the announcement.
Horse Jumper of Love have also announced tour dates across North America and Europe, where they will perform the album in full. The U.S. and Canada run begins September 25 in Brooklyn and wraps October 23 in Montreal, before the band heads to Europe for shows throughout November.
