Gracie Abrams is shutting down talk that she and Taylor Swift are in the middle of a feud. The singer spoke warmly about Swift while looking back on her time opening for the Eras Tour in 2023 and 2024, according to E! News.
On the Aug. 20 episode of Therapuss, Abrams described the experience as a “masterclass” and said she got a close look at how Swift runs a massive tour. She praised the singer for making sure the show and the experience were the best they could be for fans and crew alike.
Abrams also said the tour had “very summer camp vibes” and added that she learned from Swift that “the show always goes on no matter what.” She said Swift brings “everything” to the stage with “grace and warmth.”
Her comments come after online speculation suggested tensions between the two artists, including reaction to an Instagram post and rumors about Abrams’ song “Death Wish.” But songwriter Aaron Dessner, who has worked with both artists, recently told Billboard that the song was written about a friend’s ex and was “definitely not” about Swift.
