Frankie Valli has retired, according to his younger brother Bobby Valli. In an all-caps Facebook post on Wednesday, Bobby wrote that the singer has reached a point where his family is there to love and support him.
The update comes after Valli had continued performing into 2024 and earlier this year, even as some online reaction to his shows sparked concern. Valli had previously said he intended to keep performing as long as he could.
In May, shortly after his 92nd birthday, Valli canceled the rest of his tour dates and said in a social-media statement that he was taking the remainder of the year off to focus on his health. He said at the time that he hoped to get healthy and see fans again soon.
According to Stereogum, Valli’s most recent known performance with the Four Seasons lineup was at Pechanga Casino in Temecula, California, in late February 2026. Bobby Valli’s post appears to be the clearest indication yet that the singer has now stepped away from touring.
