A former X Factor finalist has denied murdering a social media influencer after she was allegedly struck by a car in central London, according to NME.
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, appeared at the Old Bailey by video link from Bronzefield prison and denied the murder charge. The charge was changed from attempted murder after Klaudia Zakrzewska died six days after the alleged incident.
Carrington also denied a separate charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche, who is said to have suffered life-changing injuries. She was not asked to enter a plea on a third charge of driving with excess alcohol.
The court heard the alleged incident happened outside Inca nightclub on Argyll Street at around 4am on April 19. Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC said the trial is set for the Old Bailey on January 5, 2027, with pre-trial hearings scheduled for August 11 and October 9 this year.
Carrington was part of Miss Dynamix, which reached the X Factor live finals in 2013, and later built an online following as an influencer.
