Dummy have announced a new album titled Do You Love the Color of the Sky?, set for release on October 16 through Polyvinyl, according to Pitchfork. The record follows the band’s 2024 album Free Energy.
The announcement arrived alongside the release of the lead single “Full Spectrum Dominance.” The song comes with a 3D-animated video that blends found imagery and motion graphics.
According to Pitchfork, the new album moves through dream pop, breakbeat, and trip-hop while taking on themes including the climate crisis, artificial intelligence, and surveillance.
Dummy will support the album with a North American tour this fall, with stops in cities including Portland, Vancouver, and Denver. The run ends with a hometown show in Los Angeles on November 4.
