Dancing With the Stars has announced its first season 35 pairing, with pro Carson set to compete alongside Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez, according to E! News.
Carson said on Good Morning America that she was excited about the matchup, describing Rodriguez as sweet, fun and personable. She joked that one possible obstacle is that she does not drink, so tequila shots will not be part of their partnership.
The season will be a trio in another sense as well: Carson revealed she is expecting her third child. She said she will be about four months pregnant when the competition begins and acknowledged that it is daunting to take part in the show while expecting.
Still, Carson said she is proud to be continuing with the season and wants to see what her body can do. She added that she hopes Rodriguez will be a strong team partner as they take on the competition together. Dancing With the Stars season 35 premieres on ABC Sept. 15, according to E! News.
