Cwmbran Celtic FC has partnered with Super Furry Animals, Mogwai, Panic Shack and Loose Articles on new kit designs for the 2026/27 season, according to NME.
The club said the collaboration will appear on the front of the men’s and women’s first-team shirts and is meant to support local venues and grassroots culture. Cwmbran Celtic’s men’s first team already wore one of the new looks last week in a 3-0 win over local rivals Cwmbran Town.
According to the report, 10 per cent of the profit from each shirt sold will be donated to Music Venue Trust. The rest will go back into the Cwmbran Celtic community, which includes senior men’s and women’s teams, veterans, walking football and junior sides for boys and girls.
The designs include yellow and blue versions for Panic Shack and Super Furry Animals, while Mogwai and Loose Articles are represented with green and white striped styles. The club’s commercial managers said they saw clear similarities between grassroots football and grassroots music, and Music Venue Trust said the partnership shows how communities can support each other.
