Crash Of Rhinos returned to the stage on Friday, July 17, playing their first show since 2013 in Nottingham, according to Stereogum.
The performance marked the start of a short tour in support of Logbook, the Derby emo revival band’s first album since that year. In comments shared with Stereogum during the band’s reunion announcement in March, Oli Craven said their last tour had been difficult because audiences varied widely from city to city.
Craven recalled playing packed clubs in Italy and then performing in Switzerland for only three people. Richard “Biff” Birkin also said the shows in Italy were especially strong.
The tour is set to continue in Leeds before moving on to Germany and Italy, with more dates listed for the weeks ahead, according to the band’s posted schedule.
