The Edge joined Dutch DJ Martin Garrix onstage Friday at the Tomorrowland festival in Antwerp to debut a new collaboration called “Fireflies,” according to Stereogum.
The track is not an Owl City cover and is set for release on Friday, July 24. U2 is listed in the credits for the song.
Garrix previously worked with Bono and the Edge on “We Are The People,” the official theme song for the 2021 UEFA European Football Championship.
Garrix has also been teasing a new album for later this year, and Stereogum noted that “Fireflies” could be part of that project.
