Cooper Hoffman is opening up about how his relationship with Nico Parker began. The two actors met on the set of Maude Apatow’s directorial debut, Poetic License, in November 2024, according to E! News.
Hoffman told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Aug. 5 that they did not officially start dating until a few weeks after filming ended. He said Parker later came to New York to meet his mother, costume designer Mimi O'Donnell, and that he asked her to be his girlfriend then.
He described the moment as “very sweet” and said having his family and friends in New York helps keep him grounded as his career grows. Hoffman also said that if anything went wrong, he would always have someone he could call.
The pair have kept their relationship mostly private, though Parker shared a photo of the two on her Instagram Story in June 2025, according to Cosmopolitan. That same month, she told The Times that she was dating someone, saying simply, “He’s sweet.”
