Clairo and Ryan Beatty performed together in New York on Thursday night, marking the live debut of two songs from Beatty’s new album Sweet Fortune, according to Stereogum.
The performance took place at Night Club 101, where Beatty played a sold-out set as part of a run of intimate shows in New York, Los Angeles, and London. He is also scheduled to appear at festivals including All Things Go and Austin City Limits.
During the set, Clairo joined Beatty onstage and the two sang “Sweet Fortune” and “Too Many Ways,” both of which feature Clairo’s backing vocals on the album. It was the first time Beatty had performed either song live.
The New York show also came on the fifth anniversary of Clairo’s album Sling. Fans shared videos of the collaboration online after the performance.
