Sleaford Mods performed on the opening night of Electric Castle 2026 in Romania, bringing a set that included their recently released remix of “Elitist G.O.A.T.” by The Prodigy, according to NME.
The remix was placed near the end of the duo’s hour-long performance and was followed by songs including “Jobseeker,” “Tied Up In Nottz” and “Tweet Tweet Tweet.” NME said the set also featured early highlights from The Demise of Planet X, including “Megaton” and “No Touch.”
Earlier in the show, the Nottingham pair played their cover of Pet Shop Boys’ 1986 track “West End Girls.” The song has become a regular feature of Sleaford Mods’ concerts in recent years, and they first performed it in 2023.
After Sleaford Mods, Kneecap took the Hangar stage for a set that included songs from this year’s album FENIAN as well as fan favorites “H.O.O.D.” and “Get Your Brits Out.” Electric Castle 2026 runs from July 16 to 20 and also features The Cure, Twenty One Pilots, Wet Leg, Teddy Swims and Chase & Status.
