Chelsea Handler is spelling out exactly what behavior she expects from relatives who want to vacation with her, according to E! News.
In an Instagram post shared July 22, Handler posted an excerpt from her 2025 book of comedic essays, I'll Have What She's Having, in which she explains that she wanted to address her family after feeling embarrassed and taken advantage of on a past trip.
Her rules include being polite to everyone on the trip, showing respect to employees, avoiding excessive drinking, not complaining about food while eating it, cleaning up after yourself, and not finishing a pitcher of margaritas unless you are willing to make another.
Handler also said family members should stay present during time together and bring an “attitude of contribution,” explaining that the trips are not guaranteed and that contribution means adding pleasantness, not money. She closed her note by saying that no matter how annoying family can be, they are the only family we have.
The post drew support from several celebrities, including Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon, Chrissy Teigen and Sophia Bush, who chimed in with their own reactions in the comments.
