Electric Castle 2026’s third day delivered a string of standout performances at Bánffy Castle in Romania, with lightning in the sky adding to the festival atmosphere, according to NME.
Chase & Status closed the night with a 90-minute DJ set packed with UK dance classics, remixes, and new material. The pair were joined by MC Takura and played tracks including ‘Disconnect,’ ‘Blind Faith,’ ‘Backbone’ featuring Stormzy, and ‘Baddadan’ with Flowdan.
Yung Lean and Bladee also drew a large crowd to the Hangar stage for a joint set that mixed their collaborative songs with solo material. The performance was extra special for Yung Lean, who marked his 30th birthday during the show and thanked the audience in Romania.
Nothing But Thieves topped off the Saturday lineup with an hour-long headline set. The band, performing at Electric Castle for the third time, opened with ‘Amsterdam’ and also previewed songs from their upcoming album ‘Stray Dogs,’ due in September.
NME also noted that Kid Kapichi delivered a raucous set earlier in the day. One more day of music remained at the festival, with The Cure set to close the main stage.
