BTS’ next single, “Normal,” is set to be promoted to pop radio beginning the week of July 27, according to Billboard.
The track is the ninth song on the group’s album ARIRANG and follows “SWIM,” which was released as the project’s second single. “SWIM” debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in April, giving BTS its seventh leader on each chart.
Billboard reports that “SWIM” also performed strongly across several radio formats, reaching No. 11 on Pop Airplay and No. 18 on Radio Songs. It also became a career best for the group on Adult Contemporary and Rhythmic Airplay.
The single promotion comes as BTS continues its ARIRANG World Tour. According to Billboard Boxscore, the tour grossed $127.8 million and sold 641,000 tickets across 12 shows from May 2 to 28.
BTS is also scheduled to appear on Sunday, July 19 as a co-headliner at the first FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, alongside Justin Bieber, Madonna and Shakira.
