Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance with Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden on the final night of the band’s nine-show New York residency, according to NME.
Jon Bon Jovi introduced Springsteen as “the king of the great state of New Jersey” before the two performed Bon Jovi’s 2005 song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” They shared lead vocals on the track.
The concert ended with a cover of Springsteen’s 1978 song “The Promised Land.” NME reported that Springsteen came out for the final two songs of the show.
The appearance was another collaboration between the two New Jersey musicians. Springsteen also appeared on “Hollow Man” from Bon Jovi’s 2024 album “Forever,” and Jon Bon Jovi joined Springsteen last month for a performance celebrating the opening of the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music.
