Beabadoobee performed several songs from her upcoming album Pylon during a set at Red Rocks on Friday, according to Stereogum. The show included both released tracks and unreleased material from the record.
She opened with the album’s lead single, “Sun Has Set,” and later played the unreleased song “Memories.” During the encore, she performed her recent single “Switchblade” along with the unreleased title track, “Pylon.”
When introducing “Pylon,” beabadoobee said it was the first time she had ever played it live and apologized in advance in case she made mistakes. She also noted that the song is very short and includes a lot of instrumental sections.
Pylon is scheduled for release on Sept. 18 through Dirty Hit/Interscope.
