Maricopa is getting a new golf option that won’t depend on weather, daylight or a tee time. Back Nine Golf is opening a 24/7 indoor golf simulator facility at 41724 W. Smith-Enke Road, according to InMaricopa.
The simulators are expected to be installed by the end of October, and co-owner Parker Hunsaker said the business is aiming for a soft launch before a grand opening in mid-November. Parker owns the franchise with his father, Danny Hunsaker.
The facility will offer hourly rentals and memberships, giving both casual players and more serious golfers a place to work on their game. Hunsaker said the round-the-clock schedule is especially useful for people who work late or overnight.
Hunsaker said he sees the business as a way to keep local golfers in town instead of driving elsewhere for a similar experience. He also hopes Back Nine Golf can complement local courses such as Southern Dunes Golf Course and The Duke at Rancho El Dorado as Maricopa continues to grow.
