Ariana Grande is thanking fans after her album Petal opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving her a seventh chart-topping release, according to Billboard.
Grande reacted to the news in an Instagram Story on Sunday, where she reposted Billboard’s headline about the album’s debut. She wrote, “thank you from the bottom of my heart,” along with a heart emoji.
On Saturday, she also shared photos and short video clips on Instagram showing moments from the album’s creation, captioning the post “petal forever.”
The singer recently finished the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour with a show in Chicago on Friday night. She is scheduled to continue the tour in London with 10 concerts at the O2 Arena from Aug. 15 to Sept. 1.
According to a statement shared with People, Grande plans to take a step back from public-facing work after the tour ends. The report also says she will not move forward with a previously announced role in a revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George.
