Adam Demos says he has great memories from Sex/Life, but he does not believe the Netflix series needs to return. Speaking to E! News at the Aug. 7 premiere of his new film Spa Weekend, the 41-year-old said he loved the character and was grateful for how much the show resonated with fans.
The series ran from 2021 to 2023 and became a breakout hit for Netflix. Demos said he appreciated the opportunity and noted that the show “really took off,” adding that viewers seemed to enjoy it as much as he did.
Even with fans still hoping for more, Demos said he thinks some stories should stay finished. He said the show was “bookended pretty well,” and described the experience as a very meaningful one in his career.
Demos also reflected on filming in Toronto during the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic, saying the project helped him grow as an actor. He made similar comments about Spa Weekend, praising co-stars Anna Faris, Leslie Mann, Michelle Buteau and Isla Fisher for their teamwork and dedication. Spa Weekend opens in theaters Aug. 21, according to E! News.
