Allman Betts Family Revival Tour marks 10 years with Robert Randolph, Sierra Hull

Devon Allman and Duane Betts are celebrating 10 years of the Allman Betts Family Revival Tour, according to Rolling Stone. The sons of Gregg Allman and Dicky Betts perform together as the Allman Betts Band.

The 20-date run is called A Decade of Revival Tour and takes its name from the Allman Brothers Band album A Decade of Hits 1969-1979. The tour will include rotating guest musicians at different stops, among them Robert Randolph, Sierra Hull, Judith Hill, Andy Frasco, Luther Dickinson, Jimmy Hall, Steel Beans, Larry McCray, Cody Dickinson, Alex Orbison and Abby Stahlschmidt.

In a statement, Devon Allman said the group could hardly believe a decade has passed since the tour began as a way to celebrate their fathers' songbook. Duane Betts said he is excited to keep the revival going into its 10th year and to keep performing with friends on the road.

Each show will feature two sets, with one focusing on songs from the 1970s in tribute to the original lineup and the other highlighting material from the band's 1990s era. The annual event began as a 70th birthday celebration for Gregg Allman and has since become a yearly tradition honoring the families' musical legacy.
