Amy Slaton is teasing a new career move as she prepares to release her first song, “Pounds Hollow,” according to E! News.
The 1,000-Lb Sisters star shared a clip of the AI-generated country track and responded to her brother Chris Combs’ comment in an upcoming season 11 preview, writing, “but I did tho…”
In an Aug. 18 Instagram post, Slaton said the project came together from an idea she had in her head and included the music, filming and editing process. She wrote that the experience meant a lot to her and said she is trying new things and stepping outside her comfort zone.
Slaton also said she wants her sons, Gage and Glenn, to see that it is never too late to chase a dream. Her music storyline will be featured in the upcoming season of TLC’s 1,000-lb Sisters, which premieres Sept. 1.
