The White House’s official TikTok account posted a new video on Wednesday featuring Donald Trump and set to Taylor Swift’s 2021 vault track “I Bet You Think About Me,” according to Rolling Stone. The caption on the post referenced lyrics from the song.
Within a few hours, the song was muted and removed from the video. Rolling Stone noted that the track is still available in other TikTok clips and as a sound on the platform.
The removal follows a similar move days earlier, when Swift’s song “August” was taken down from a Team Trump TikTok video posted on Aug. 8. That post had also used a caption referencing Swift and her music.
Rolling Stone reports that Swift later muted additional songs that had appeared in older Team Trump videos from last fall. Swift has not publicly commented on the latest removals, according to the publication.
