A Virginia man says what he calls his “daily adventure” led to a $500,000 lottery prize from a scratch-off ticket, according to UPI Odd News.
The Midlothian man told Virginia Lottery officials that he often treats buying tickets as part of his daily routine. On one stop at the Styles Bi-Rite store on Hull Street Road in Midlothian, he picked up a Six Figures scratch-off ticket.
He scratched the ticket in the store and uncovered the top prize of $500,000.
After the win, the man said he first looked for a quiet place so he could call his son and tell him the news. He also said he does not have any immediate plans for the money.
