Several students were evaluated for minor injuries after a school bus and a Tesla collided during the morning commute in Maricopa, according to InMaricopa.
Police responded to the two-vehicle crash at about 8:02 a.m. near the intersection of Porter Road and Homestead Drive, where first responders checked students on the bus.
A police spokesperson said several students were assessed for minor injuries. Police did not say how many students were involved or what caused the collision.
One northbound lane of Porter Road and the westbound turn lane on Homestead Drive were temporarily blocked while crews worked the scene.
