Drivers on State Route 347 will face another round of overnight lane restrictions between Maricopa and Casa Blanca Road from Oct. 15 through Oct. 23, according to InMaricopa.
Crews are paving the highway and testing materials as part of the improvement project. Northbound traffic will be down to one lane during several overnight work periods, and some southbound restrictions are also planned.
Northbound SR 347 will be reduced to one lane between Maricopa and Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday for paving. The same restriction will be in place Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., and again Monday from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. for paving.
On Monday, some turns at Casa Blanca Road will also be restricted from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. Additional lane restrictions are planned later in the week for materials testing, including a northbound reduction from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday and a southbound reduction from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday. Drivers are urged to obey posted speeds, merge carefully and allow extra travel time.
