Sharna Burgess is calling out John Stamos after the actor made dismissive comments about Dancing With the Stars, according to E! News.
Stamos recently told Bobby Bones that he had passed on the ABC competition because, in his words, “what makes that show good is people suffering and looking like fools.” Burgess responded in a since-deleted Instagram Story video, saying she cared because she spent 15 years on the show and because Stamos was speaking to the person she won with.
Burgess was paired with Bones when he won season 27 in 2018. She said Bones “laid it all out on the floor” and that the competition is “the last thing” about people looking foolish.
Stamos made the remarks while joking with Bones on his podcast, teasing that Bones should not have won and saying the show was “rigged.” Bones, who has faced criticism over his win in the past, laughed it off and said Stamos would enjoy being on the series.
