SeaWorld San Diego has announced the recent births of a female bottlenose dolphin and a female California sea lion, according to UPI Odd News.
The dolphin was born June 21 and is now on display with her mother, Sofi, and grandmother, Sandy. The park said the calf is nursing well and has begun to learn and explore.
The sea lion pup was born June 15 and is spending time behind the scenes with first-time mother Phoenix while they bond.
SeaWorld says the pup is expected to make her public debut in the coming months.
