Richard Hawley made a surprise appearance with Reverend & The Makers during their set at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield on Sunday, July 26, according to NME.

The Sheffield band performed on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage at Hillsborough Park, where frontman Jon McClure paid an emotional tribute to his family before running through songs including “Heavyweight Champion of the World,” “Haircut” and “Heatwave in the Cold North.”

The set ended with “Silence Is Talking,” performed alongside Hawley. After the show, McClure shared a message on Instagram describing it as “a special moment” and thanking people for their kind comments and mentions.

McClure also gave a shoutout to his “Sheffield brothers” Hawley and K Dot for joining him onstage. The band’s recent album, “Is This How Happiness Feels?,” follows their top 10 release “Heatwave In The Cold North.”
