Prince William and Kate Middleton gave followers a look back at their family’s summer in a post on Instagram July 28, according to E! News. The Prince and Princess of Wales called it “The Summer Rewind” and thanked people who helped make the past few months special.
The post included several photos from the season, among them a Wimbledon visit with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, along with portraits of the three children taken over the summer. William and Kate are parents to George, 13, Charlotte, 11, and Louis, 8.
Other summer moments highlighted in the post included William trying a Formula 1 race car, meeting Maori queen Nga wai hono i te po, celebrating David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, and meeting public figures such as Robert Irwin, Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch.
The summer was also notable for Kate, who spent time with children through the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise awareness for holistic healthcare for cancer and support the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, according to the report. George also marked a milestone birthday on July 22, when the family shared a montage in honor of him turning 13.
