A North Carolina man has won a $100,000 lottery prize only two years after taking home a $2 million jackpot, according to UPI Odd News.
Cristien Breton of Salisbury said he bought the winning Cash Payday scratch-off ticket at the Food Lion on Mahaley Avenue in Salisbury. He said he was stunned to learn the ticket was worth $100,000.
Breton said the latest win was even more surprising because he had already won $2 million from a Platinum scratch-off ticket in August 2024. "I could not believe it happened again," he said, adding that he has been very lucky.
He said the first prize helped him care for his mother, and he wants this win to support the community. Breton said he hopes to help underprivileged children who are getting ready to go back to school. After required state and federal taxes, he took home $72,018.
